Sinister Motive Behind the Las Vegas Mass Shooting? Startling Revelations from Recently Declassified FBI Documents

Date:

Newly released documents by the FBI may provide a possible motive for the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history, which left 60 people dead at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas on October 1, 2017.

According to the documents, the shooter may have been motivated by his animosity against casinos. While the FBI and the Las Vegas Metro Police did not officially determine a motive for the shooting, a witness account included in the over 600 documents released suggests this as a possible explanation. The heavily redacted documents contain interviews with numerous witnesses who knew the 64-year-old shooter.

“Prolific video poker player.” the FBI report said.

A newly released FBI report revealed that the gunman behind the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history was a “prolific video poker player” who lost $38,000 during a single trip to Las Vegas in the middle of September before the massacre. According to a witness, the shooter was also banned from several casinos because he played well and won large sums of money. The report also stated that the same witness claimed the killer was “very upset at the way casinos were treating him and other high rollers.”

Another witness said that the murderer believed Hitler was a good man and that he expressed fascination with the Oklahoma City bombers.

A statement from the metro police on the release of the documents warned against harmful speculation.

“At the conclusion of that investigation in 2018, we were unable to determine a motive for the shooter,” the statement read.

The lack of a clear motivation for the heinous attack has led to the proliferation of conspiracy theories about the horrific incident.
