According to an Israeli energy expert, Hunter Biden had a well-paid FBI mole named “One-Eye” who provided confidential information about government probes of his Chinese business partners. The whistleblower was arrested in Cyprus last month after the U.S. Department of Justice accused him of being a gunrunner and made an extradition request.
According to an Israeli energy expert, Hunter Biden had a well-paid FBI mole named “One-Eye” who provided confidential information about government probes of his Chinese business partners.
“Dr. Gal Luft is a former Israel Defense Forces lieutenant colonel with a doctorate in strategic studies from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University,” the energy expert stated. “Luft is a co-director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security – a Washington-based think tank focused on energy, security, and economic trends. He is also a senior adviser to the United States Energy Security Council that is focused on diminishing the inordinate strategic importance of oil, which stems from its virtual monopoly over transportation fuel. Luft specializes in geopolitics, geo-economics, energy security, Middle East, and US-China relations.”
The New York Times reported in 2018:
By 2015, Mr. Ye had begun working on perhaps his most politically connected quarry yet: the family of Mr. Biden, the vice president. An aide to Mr. Ye met the vice president’s second son, Hunter Biden, in Washington. Mr. Ye then met privately with Hunter Biden at a hotel in Miami in May 2017, according to people with direct knowledge of the meetings who were not authorized to speak publicly because the meetings were private. Mr. Ye proposed a partnership to invest in American infrastructure and energy deals, the people said. During this period, the vice president’s son was managing Rosemont Seneca Partners, an investment firm he formed with Chris Heinz, the stepson of John Kerry, the former secretary of state.
Reportedly, there are emails found on Hunter Biden’s laptop that allegedly reveal his communication with high-ranking officials from China Energy Fund Committee (CEFC), including Patrick Ho. The emails, dated August 2017, show Hunter attempting to secure a three-year consulting contract with CEFC worth $10 million per year “for introductions alone.” Hunter is said to have told a former executive director of CEFC that the deal would be “interesting to me and my family.” The New York Post reported that CEFC paid Hunter and Jim Biden a total of $4.9 million in monthly installments for 14 months from August 2017, according to government records.
Hunter Biden allegedly received a $1 million retainer from Chi Ping Patrick Ho, the former executive of Chinese oil giant CEFC, according to an “Attorney Engagement Letter” dated September 2017 obtained by the New York Post. The letter stated that the payment was for “Counsel to matters related to U.S. law and advice pertaining to the hiring and legal analysis of any U.S. law firm or lawyer.”
However, in November 2017, Ho was arrested at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. In March 2019, the Department of Justice announced that Ho had been sentenced to serve 36 months in prison for “his role in a multi-year, multimillion-dollar scheme to bribe top officials of Chad and Uganda in exchange for business advantages for CEFC China Energy Company Limited (‘CEFC China’).”
Luft’s lawyer, Robert Henoch, claims that Ho was merely a “patsy” and a “fall guy” for CEFC.
Luft alleged that he contacted the Department of Justice after Ho was sentenced, and U.S. federal investigators allegedly interviewed him for more than 18 hours on March 28 and 29, 2019. Luft said that he informed the investigators that Hunter and Jim Biden were receiving money in exchange for the FBI mole and to garner influence from having connections to Joe Biden. However, he claimed that he never heard back from the investigators.
Last month, Luft was arrested at a Cyprus airport as he was about to board a flight back to Israel. He tweeted on February 18, “I’ve been arrested in Cyprus on a politically motivated extradition request by the U.S.
The U.S., claiming I’m an arms dealer. It would be funny if it weren’t tragic. I’ve never been an arms dealer. DOJ is trying to bury me to protect Joe, Jim & Hunter Biden. Shall I name names?”
It appears that Dr. Luft, a whistleblower, has provided information to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) regarding alleged arms trafficking to China and Libya, as well as violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act. The article also suggests that Dr. Luft’s information may shed light on payments to President Biden from China, although no further details are provided on this claim.
Luft is currently being held in a Cyprus jail as he awaits extradition to the U.S. The article mentions that Henoch, who is in communication with Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, believes that Dr. Luft’s information is “explosive stuff.”
Comer said, “I think we’re going in a positive direction, and I think that people see the heavy-handedness of the Bidens – either you’re getting picked up by the DOJ or you’re getting a letter from Hunter Biden’s personal attorney trying to intimidate you into not coming in and talking to us.”
Luft’s attorney in Israel, Mordechai Tzivin, stated, “The Senate only recently began to investigate Hunter’s case, and Gal’s testimony, if [he is allowed to testify] will bury Hunter Biden. Even more so, his testimony will shift the attention toward the president himself.”
