Heart Disease Reversal: Dr. Pam Popper Unveils the Diet Doctors Don’t Tell You About

Date:

Heart disease has long been seen as a life sentence, but internationally recognized nutrition and health expert Dr. Pam Popper believes otherwise. As the founder and executive director of Wellness Forum Health, she brings good news to those suffering from this condition: It has been reversed.

A 38-Year Study That Challenges Conventional Wisdom

Dr. Popper points to the work of her colleague Caldwell Esselstyn, who has conducted the longest longitudinal study on coronary artery disease—spanning 38 years. “This guy’s been tracking his people; he’s never lost a patient to cardiovascular disease who stayed on his diet: low-fat, high fiber, plant-based diet,” Popper tells Liz Wheeler of “The Liz Wheeler Show.”

The Power of a Plant-Based Diet

According to Popper, the key to reversing heart disease lies in adopting a low-fat, high-fiber, plant-based diet. She emphasizes that Esselstyn’s patients have seen remarkable results by sticking to this nutritional approach.

Skepticism Toward Popular Diet Trends

Despite the glowing testimonials all over social media, Popper and her esteemed colleague believe that diets like keto and carnivore will not lead to similar results.

“‘Well, I have patients who this happened and that happened,’” Popper mocks, Adding, “That’s not a scientific study at all.”

Why Doctors Aren’t Promoting This Solution

However, she notes that in general, doctors aren’t trained to offer the solution—which she believes is a plant-based diet. “They’re on the payroll of Big Pharma; they’re working for institutions,” she explains. This, she suggests, is why more physicians aren’t advocating for dietary changes as a means to reverse heart disease.

With decades of research and compelling evidence, Dr. Pam Popper urges those battling heart disease to consider the transformative power of a plant-based diet. As she and Esselstyn have shown, it might just be the key to reversing a condition that affects millions worldwide.
